Driving Directions
CSU San Marcos is conveniently located in North San Diego County — only a short drive from the City of San Diego, Riverside County, and Orange County. The campus is easily accessed from Interstates 5 and 15:
From Interstate 5
- From Interstate 5, merge onto eastbound Highway 78
- Drive approximately 14 miles on eastbound Highway 78, then exit at Twin Oaks Valley Road
- Turn right to go south on Twin Oaks Valley Road
- After approximately .5 mile, turn left onto Craven Drive. You have now arrived at CSU San Marcos.
- Park in Parking Lot C on your right. This is before Craven Drive ends into Craven Circle.
From Interstate 15
- From Interstate 15, merge onto westbound Highway 78
- Drive approximately 4.5 miles on westbound Highway 78, then exit at Twin Oaks Valley Road
- Turn left to go south on Twin Oaks Valley Road
- After approximately .5 mile, turn left onto Craven Drive. You have now arrived at CSU San Marcos.
- Park in Parking Lot C on your right. This is before Craven Drive ends into Craven Circle.
